Hair Madness

Posted by Mandy at 10:12 AM
It is that time again.. it's been around 3 months since I last had my hair cut (or trimmed... I know - I know...) and I'm back to the ponytail every day point with it. So, I'm in the market for a new look. I already know I'm going to see Melissa at Modern Image for the cut and color (she just did an amazing job cutting Madison's hair!) and after seeing the really great job she did on my friend's hair, it verified her as my choice.

Now, it's decision making time. Do I want to go shorter again? Keep it the same length but add a new shape? Shave it bald so I don't have to deal with it at all? What's a gal to do?

On top of what cut I want, I'm also trying to figure out what colors I want. I know I want two - I'm getting it foiled. I don't like anything drastic, but I want it noticeable. I'm thinking maybe just doing highlights in one shade lighter and the other two shades lighter. Is that too boring? Maybe I should go all out and surprise Clayton with pink streaks and purple undertones....

I hate trying to decide what to do to my hair. I want something different, but I also get so terrified of going too far outside of my established comfort zone!

I say get it cut like Clayton's. I'm sure he wouldn't mind at all.

lol... do you know my husband ;)

He's the one that randomly points out other women's hair to me and sarcastically says, "Yeah.. you should really get your hair done like THAT!"

I understand the feeling. I get my hair cut about twice a year and Justin is so picky and I always want something new. You'll have to post or email us some pics of the new do.

You ought to just get a simple trim and avoid the expense of a style & color know with the economy and all being down. I'm sure your husband would appreciate you keeping the cost down...but at the same time i know he wants you to be happy!

Miss you, cya Friday!!

The "hairy" dilemna! ha! If you had nappy, wooley hair like mine you could do absolutely NOTHING to it and let it loc up! I'm sure your hubby would really like that. lol. Mine, is still getting used to this au naturale, no fuss style I've got, but I luuuuuurve it. The Hubster liked it better when I used to straighten it and keep it long. Compromise is what I call it cuz I don't like his hi-top sneakers, but I let him wear them. lol!

Did hell just freeze over? I think my husband not only ready my blog, but left an unsigned comment!

Miss you, too... these weeks of you being away are becoming too frequent! Are you sure you don't want to switch careers and go into the family business of being an accountant? ;)

Love you!
