We take our boys to Silver Dollar City every summer and they always love it. There are a lot of other fun things to do such as all the different shows, go carts, some sort of butterfly palace?, mini golf, bumper boats, White water and a dinosaur exhibit that i havent had a chance to take the kids to yet. South Texas, perhaps? It's upstream. Ocean City, Maryland is nice, and you can catch DC on the trip.
